Please look under the Wireless Broadband Topic ref a potential wireless supplier for W St L. If you have 15 or more interested parties at Beenhams Heath, they may be able to offer you a solution.

BT's lines are too long for ADSL to reach you in useable form

Having become frustrated by the lack of Broadband here... we've taken on a distributorship locally and work with Keith in Milley Lane to install satellite broadband (which we've been using succesfully now for a couple of years) for anyone else who wants it in and around the Walthams, Beenhams etc -- a least until BT can get their fingers out and hopefully respond to the latest petition. A few others have already gone this route with us. I don't want this to seem like an advert...but if anyone is interested - then see Katie or Ian Sarsfield (sometimes to be found at The Bell in the evenings!) or via the number in the Lych Gate (KiMServices/Village IT). There's an upfront cost for the equipment and various monthly fee options thereafter with just a 30 day notice period (no long contracts or tie-ins). Take a look at www.beyondsl.net for more info.
